Whether you're looking to unwind after a busy week, reconnect with your body, or spend time in LGBTQIA+ community, these sessions offer a chance to slow down, breathe, and nurture your wellbeing without pressure or expectation.
Who these classes are for:
LGBTQIA+ people who’ve felt excluded from, or unsure about attending, mainstream wellbeing classes.
LGBTQIA+ people who are new to qigong or mindful movement, or those with previous experience - everyone is welcome.
LGBTQIA+ people who want to turn up exactly as they are, practice in community, and be in a space that celebrates each of our unique experiences and needs.
Accessibility:
Our teachers take a trauma-informed, neuroaffirming approach, and encourage you to move in whatever way feels right for your body.
You can participate in these sessions either standing or sitting - chairs can be provided, and you're welcome to take breaks whenever you need to.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has all-gender toilets. You can find further accessibility information on the Hanover Community Centre website.
