The word Koinonia has a threefold meaning – Intimacy, Community, and Communion – defining the threefold purpose of Koinonia events.

These elemental ritual play spaces were created to move beyond s*x positive spaces into Person Positive spaces, welcoming not only the s*nsual, but also the intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual facets of human connection.

In order to welcome the many facets of who you at Koinonia, the space is divided into areas based on the elements:

• Air/Mind is the dance floor, encouraging ecstatic embodiment

• Water/Heart is the healing space, inviting stillness, holding, rest, and soothing touch

• Fire/Sex is the play space, enticing you deeper into the infinite possibilities of pleasure and sensation

• Earth/Body is the food corner, providing tasty treats, and a space to kick back, converse, and connect

You are welcome to indulge in as much or as little of each of these as you feel drawn to on the night.

Weaving together magical ritual, safer sex protocol, and a skilled team of facilitators, Koinonia offers a safe and sacred space that is so much more than a s*x party – embracing all that you are, sowing the seeds of community, and opening portals into embodied ecstasy.

Koinonia is an event where participants of all genders and orientations are welcome, and queerness is centred and celebrated.
